Maria Dimitriou-Tsaknaki (she, her) is a Ph.D candidate in the field of critical technology theory and the commons, based in Thessaloniki, Greece. With a background in architecture, her interests are related to environmental & participatory design, circular economy practices (focusing on participatory material reuse), commoning practices, community building, ecological justice and landscape democracy. Her research aims to blend theoretical investigations with practice-based experiences, while exploring alternative technical systems and modes of technological production as models for commoning knowledge.
